These terms govern your use of this website and the submission of requests through it. By using the site or submitting a form, you accept them. They apply alongside our Privacy Policy.
The nature of this website
The information published on this website is provided for general information about the group and its services. It does not constitute legal, financial or investment advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice on your specific circumstances.
We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every page is complete, current or free of error at all times.
No advisory relationship is created by a request
Submitting a request through this website does not create a legal, advisory or client relationship between you and any company in the group, and does not constitute acceptance of your request.
A relationship arises only once we have completed our review, confirmed in writing that we are able to act, and agreed the scope of work with you.
How requests are handled
The following applies to every request submitted through this website, and repeats the notice shown at the foot of each form:
- Submitting a request does not constitute an agreement, undertaking or commitment to provide the services requested.
- All requests are subject to review and assessment in accordance with our internal policies, our compliance procedures, conflict checks, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- We may request additional information or documents where these are needed to complete the assessment.
- We may ask for a meeting — in person, virtual or by video call — where this is needed to complete the assessment of a request.
- We may accept a request, decline it, or suspend its assessment based on the outcome of that internal review, without being obliged to state our reasons.
- All data and documents submitted are treated in strict confidence and used only for the purposes of assessing the request, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for providing correct and accurate information. We may set aside any request shown to contain incorrect or misleading information.
- By submitting a form, you confirm the accuracy of the information and documents provided, and consent to their use for assessing the request and communicating with you about it.
- We may update these forms or change the way requests are assessed at any time, consistent with applicable regulations and our internal policies.
Timescales
An initial review typically takes three to five business days. Complex or high-value files may require a fuller assessment, which usually takes ten to fifteen business days and can vary with the nature of the request and the completeness of the information supplied.
Where a matter depends on a government authority or another third party, completion times follow that body's own procedures and are outside our control.
Fees
No fee is charged for submitting a request or for its initial review. Where fees will apply, we will tell you before any work begins and will proceed only with your prior agreement.
Official channels only
All official communication takes place through the telephone numbers and email addresses published on this website. Numbers or addresses circulated by any other means are not recognised.
Services, consultations and procedures are carried out at our offices or through official approved channels. No employee or intermediary is authorised to provide services outside that framework.
Fees and expenses are payable only into the official bank accounts of the relevant company, or through approved financial channels. We accept no responsibility for amounts paid in cash or transferred to personal or unapproved accounts.
If you deal with anyone claiming to represent the group outside these channels, or pay them directly, you do so at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any obligation, agreement or promise made outside the official framework. Please report any such approach to us immediately.
Acceptable use
You agree to use this website lawfully, to submit genuine requests, and not to attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or submit automated or bulk traffic. We apply rate limits and automated-abuse checks to protect the service, and we may block access where these terms are breached.
Intellectual property
The content of this website — including its text, design, graphics, logos and marks — belongs to the group or is used under licence, and is protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not reproduce, republish or use the content commercially without our prior written permission.
Third-party links
This website links to the sites of other companies in the group and, in places, to external sites. We do not control the content of external sites and are not responsible for it; their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the general information published on this website, or from any interruption to its availability.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where relevant, the regulations of the free zone in which the applicable group company is licensed.
Any dispute arising from your use of this website falls to the competent courts of the emirate in which that company is licensed, unless a written agreement between us provides otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continued use of the website after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
